About ME

October, 22nd 2024

My name is Bobby and I have battled with addiction for 31 years. It has been an up and down battle. There have been times of sobriety followed by relapse that would either land me in jail, a mental hospital or rehab. I am what you would call a chronic relapser.

It was after a really bad two month meth spree that I ended up at Padres Place. I felt like I was at death's door and I was ready to die. I had given up hope but still battled with staying. Finally I relented and checked in. That was the day that my life changed.

My time at Padres Place allowed me to rejoin the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous and restore my relationship with God and my family. If it had not been for Mike, Matt, Josiah and the counselors at Padres Place, I would be in prison or dead. Instead I am now home with my wife and family, working and living an abundant sober life.
